We're in a historic Greek house with a garden and balcony in Nizam, a 5-minute walk from the ferry pier. We're open every day from 11:00 to 23:00 for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served until 16:00, so it's there for late arrivals too.
From our kitchen
Breakfast comes two ways: the Breakfast Plate (cured beef, basket cheese, aged kaşar, dried figs, walnuts, rock samphire and fresh edible flowers), or "Create Your Own Breakfast". For the second, start with sunny-side-up eggs, scrambled eggs or an omelette, then build your table with tulum cheese, avocado spread, kaymak, honey, homemade jam, and green and black olives. For coffee there are espresso drinks, Turkish coffee and iced coffees; tea comes in a glass teapot, and so do linden and green tea. Later in the day, pastas (Creamy Chicken Fettuccine, Tomato & Parmesan Penne), grills (entrecôte, lamb chops, homemade köfte) and salads take over.
The place
The cafe is in an old Greek house: sit in the garden, on the balcony or indoors. Breakfast in the garden in the morning, coffee on the balcony in the afternoon, dinner under the trees in the evening. We're a few streets in from the island's bustle, and nobody rushes you here.

- Hours: Daily 11:00–23:00. The dinner kitchen takes orders until 22:00.
- Breakfast: 11:00–16:00.

- How do I get there from the pier?
- Leave the ferry and walk straight along Büyük İskele Caddesi to the square with the Clock Tower (Saat Kulesi). At the square, turn left onto Kıvılcım Sokak, then after a few steps turn right onto Lonca Sokak. Follow Lonca Sokak down to Çınar Caddesi, cross it and keep going; our door is a few steps further on the right. 300 m in total, a 5-minute walk.
- Can I come with children?
- Yes. We have high chairs, and the garden is easy-going for families.
- Can I sit in the garden?
- Yes, we have open-air tables in the garden and on the balcony. There's indoor seating too.
- Are there vegetarian options?
- Yes: egg breakfasts, Tomato & Parmesan Penne, Caprese Salad and sides.
- Do I need a reservation?
- It isn't required, but we take reservations; for weekend breakfast we recommend booking ahead. Online booking is open up to 7 days ahead, and tables are reserved with at least one food item selected. For groups larger than 16, please write to us.
